The discovery of seven headed snake has created a sensation all around Honduras. It was reported thar a seven headed snake has been discovered near a village in Honduras. Polycephaly is a phenomenon which are generally found in snakes and turtles which is responsible for poly heads in these animals.

They are rare to find as polycephalic animals do not survive in wild due to their short life span. Only two headed snakes have been reported to survive for much longer period.
