There is no denying the fact that a house becomes more beautiful if flowers are planted in the house and a house looks no less than a paradise with flowers of different colors and smell. While there are some seasonal and very common flowers which you can find in almost every house, there are some flowers which are not only unique but weird as well and they are found in few corners of the world.
Today we will let you know about some weird flowers of the world and we are sure that you will find it difficult to believe that some of these plants even exist in reality:
- Monkey Face Orchid (Dracula Simia):
This flower smells like ripe oranges but it is found at the altitude of more than 3K feet in the forests of Peru and southeastern Ecuador.
- Naked Man Orchid (Orchis italica):
The beautiful purple flower is also known as Hanging Man Orchid, mainly found in Mediterranean regions this flower is also used for making the drink Salep which is also called as Turkish Delight.
- Bleeding Heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis): The flower which has two small sepals and four petals make a shape of a heart from which a drop of blood is dropping. The flower is mostly found in eastern Asia and North America.
- Milk Melon:
There rare plants are found in Vietnam and they are called as milk melons because of their shape as it resembles the breast of a woman.
- Star Flower (Stapelia grandiflora):
Many people feel that this flower should be called as starfish flower rather than star flower and this plant is best keep outside the house because of its smell which resembles the smell of a dead flesh.
